Urothelial carcinoma with lipoid differentiation 🔬Sheets of high-grade tumor cells merge with adipocyte-like cells showing multivacuolated, lipid-rich cytoplasm — a rare and striking morphologic variant that can mimic liposarcoma or clear cell neoplasms. #GUpath#BladderCancer
Gastric glomus tumor
They can occur in the stomach and can pose a diagnostic challenge, especially on biopsy or FNA.
The center of the tumor can become hyalinized or myxoid.
They are positive for SMA, calponin, h-caldesmon, and collagen type IV, and negative for desmin, S100, chromogranin, and CD117/KIT.
