@KellyFuerst1@alybrickey Also a teacher and mom but my daughters school is also her daycare! So 90% of the kids are attending the same building today anyway. And her school is a polling station. A great idea in theory but not ideal for schools with a full daycare program.
@LarsonFanChris@alybrickey Except most elementary schools have daycare in them that are running today anyway so almost the same amount of kids are attending anyway.
@newbybrewer@alybrickey Except most elementary schools have daycares so the kids are there anyway just with less structured time due to not being in their classroom. 🤷♀️ Maybe elementary schools aren’t the best polling stations 🤷♀️
@Andrewp9110 @alybrickey Totally agree except that most elementary schools have a daycare in them so the kids are still in the building but with less structured classroom time! So my daughters school has polling in the gym anyway and 90% of the kids are in the building for daycare. 🤷♀️
@SkylarAPeters@680CJOB@jossreimer I’m a fully vaccinated teacher (high school) and my daughter is in daycare (under 5 and ineligible for vaccination). Can you please ask about rapid tests for teachers and daycare staff and children? I feel “punished” that my unvaccinated colleagues have easy access to tests!
@TWillardEdu What?! So my friends was Pfizer for first and second dose. I got my booster first (Moderna for all three) and mentioned the pharmacist said it was a half dose. When she went to RBC for her Pfizer booster she mentioned it and they said it was a full dose. What is happening?!
@SusanWingertPhD @mshopeteach Where did you get an appointment for 5 months? Trying to get my husband his booster but all@pharmacies still saying 6 months!
