This is California’s Medicaid program
But Democrats told me this isn’t happening?!
🚨BREAKING - Gavin Newsom Appoints Sharia-Compliant Muslim Judge Who Forced the Government to Comply With Islamic Law
New video reveals how Sharia-adherent Haaris Syed, now a sitting judge in Los Angeles County, appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom, spent over a decade living by strict Sharia principles and made the government bend to them.
As a public defender, Syed refused LA County’s retirement matching contributions for more than 13 years.
He turned down potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars in employer matches and investment growth, even after having children, because the plans involved riba (interest). Which is strictly forbidden under Islamic law (SHARIA)
When the county kept rejecting his requests, he didn’t back down. He fought back.
Syed sued Los Angeles County with legal help connected through TERROR-TIED CAIR, and the case was backed by attorneys from Stanford Law School’s Religious Liberties Clinic.
He won a "religious" accommodation. The government was forced to create a special exemption, lowering the investment threshold so he could access Sharia-compliant funds instead.
Islam is using the mask of religious freedom to conquer America from within.
Syed is a deeply devout Muslim, which should concern our government. He openly talks about living according to Islamic rules, including growing a beard in line with the Sunnah of the "Prophet" Muhammad, and using the American legal system to make the state accommodate Sharia-compliant investing.
Did you know that Muhammad commanded Muslims to grow their beards specifically to differentiate themselves from non-Muslims? He said: “Differ from the polytheists: let the beard grow and trim the mustache.”
This is a real judge now sitting on the bench in one of America’s largest court systems.
A man who refused to compromise on Sharia for over a decade sued the government and won, with support from jihadis from CAIR and Stanford Law.
CAIR helped connect him to legal support. Stanford Law attorneys backed the case. And in the end, the government changed its policy to fit his Islamic requirements.
We are putting Sharia-compliant judges, appointed by left-wing governors, in our courts.
Quick reminder: Islamic law is absolutely incompatible with true democracy. It is a theocratic system with Allah alone at its head. Allah's law is interpreted by a ruling body of clerics. There is no room for a secular political system in which all people are treated as equals.
ICYMI - Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz pardoned an illegal alien convicted of repeatedly vaginally and orally raping a 10-year-old girl who told police it’s normal in his culture to have sex with prepubescent girls, then suggested the child was also at fault & should be arrested. The pardon may now shield him from his imminent deportation as his record is wiped clean & he can now fight his removal in court easier.
When I was a child, my grandfather would sometimes solemnly intone at the dinner table: "The purpose of socialism is to organize scarcity."
As a kid it sort-of didn't register in my brain as meaning anything beyond "socialism bad", but eventually when I was 12 or something, I did ask what he meant by those specific words.
And he said: socialists establish control of valuable resources and then create an artificial scarcity of these resources, so that they can then use them as a tool of control by deciding who gets and doesn't get those resources.
And I thought that was wrong. I mean, are socialists misguided? Sure. But to claim that they deliberately create scarcity as a means of political control? That seemed far-fetched.
But, of course, he was entirely correct.
Friends, there are many reasons to detest communism, but I want to draw attention to one issue of supreme importance, which plays out in the political realm time and time again: Karl Marx’s critique of religion.
Read my latest for Fox in the link below:
Francesca Hong was born to non-citizen immigrants. In other words, she has citizenship in the U.S. because she was born here when her parents were on student visas. And now she is running as a socialist in order to dismantle the American way of life.
Tell me more about how this isn’t a problem.
The Obamcare-Is-Constitutional justice and Papist nut justice said anchor babies are citizens. The four sane justices said they aren't.
Justice Thomas's dissent is beautiful and irrefutable.
Hope Trump gets another appointment.
Now that the Supreme Court has given its blessing to birth tourism, it's probably worth revisiting this story from 2019.
A Chinese national named Dongyuan Li ran a company called You Win USA Vacation Services that helped pregnant Chinese women travel to the U.S. to give birth so their children would get citizenship. She advertised having served more than 500 customers, charged each between $40,000 and $80,000, used 20 apartments in Irvine to house the mothers, and took in $3 million in wire transfers from China in two years.
Customers were coached to lie on their visa applications and at the U.S. consulate interview in China, claiming they'd stay only two weeks when they actually planned to stay up to three months to give birth. They were told to come early in pregnancy and were coached on how to conceal their pregnancies from customs.
You Win's marketing pitch was that giving birth in the U.S. meant "13 years of free education," "less pollution," "an easier way for the whole family to immigrate to the United States," and "priority for jobs in U.S. government, public companies, and large corporations."
What could possibly go wrong by constitutionalizing the incentive driving these schemes?
The birthright citizenship case loss was not a huge defeat because it was never going to win at present. I’m not making a political comment. I’m making a legal comment. SCOTUS was never going to toss out 150 years of common understanding, based on a relatively recent critique. It’s going to take time.
But we got closer than we had any reasonable expectation of getting, with a 5 to 4 recognition that the 14th Amendment does not require birthright citizenship is currently understood.
This can’t be rationally considered a defeat. Instead, this is a step towards eventual victory. It is inevitable that, like all other first world countries, except Canada, we’re going to revise the notion of citizenship to reflect current reality.
It didn’t happen today, and it wasn’t going to happen today. But what you need to understand is this was a huge step forward towards eliminating birthright citizenship.
Don’t freak out; a few more defeats like this and we will have won.
Thomas Paine publishes an open letter in the Pennsylvania Evening Post, under the name “Republicus,” which advocates for the name “United States of America” for the new nation now emerging.
This is the first time such a term has been used.
This is my struggle with the government control.
We have a minor example of it here at our Catholic school.
The water that we receive and pay for is filtered by the city. The city we operate out of requires us to rent a meter that measures how much water we consume so that they know how to bill us. They recently increase the cost of renting the meter we are required to have by almost 300%.
Next, the State of Michigan declared that all water fountains in schools have to have filtrated units.
Ugh.
It was a shockingly expensive thing to do but step-by-step we have replaced and are replacing every water fountain with these large filtered units.
To be clear, the water was already filtered at the city level, but rules are rules so we have to put in these.
On top of that, the government wants verification so we have to pay inspection fees every year for the people who come in and test our water to be sure that the water the city purified and that we purify afterward is pure enough.
These are not small fees.
I asked if they could look at the test results of our water before we pay all this money to put in filtered water fountains and no, we can’t.
It doesn’t matter that our water is already purified: the state made a rule
They forces a nonprofit to spend an obscene amount of money and then added to it an expensive fee of people coming in and conducting tests.
And don’t even get me started on the scam of all of the rules and inspections around elevators.
We are a small nonprofit school & Parish that commits 10% of our collection to taking care of the poor and our area. For tuition, we eat 1/3 of the cost to educate so has to make it easier for people to afford the school.
Every year, it gets harder because the State of Michigan adds more rules and more layers of bureaucracy and more fees on us.
Every. Year.
More rules, more inspections.
People who have never run a business or a nonprofit their entire life make these rules in their little bubbles with absolutely no thought of the damage it does.
One day it’s gonna put us under and then they’re gonna have to feed the people we feed and they’re going to do it the same way they did water fountains and elevators:
Maximum cost.
Minimum good.
Results defined by unintended consequences.
"We have socialism already...the fire stations we call upon"
Sure, if we ignore the fire engines, PPE, hoses, gated wyes, tankers, retardant, copters, chainsaws, and everything they use to save lives are created by private industry and only made possible through capitalist private sector supply chains.
Let's not forget, while the rest of the Palisades burned to the ground because our socialist government leaders slashed the LAFD budget by $17M, Rick Caruso hired private firefighters to successfully save all of his assets in the Village.
Fire departments aren't socialist...they operate in a MIXED ECONOMY. This is basic economics, folks. I can't tell if these socialists are filthy liars, or they're really just this stupid. Maybe it's both?
Newsom and the Legislature are raising taxes by billions of dollars. They're also increasing the gas tax yet again. They seem intent on California leading the nation in U-Haul rentals for a 7th straight straight year.
MILTON FRIEDMAN:
“KEEP YOUR EYE ON ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY: HOW MUCH GOVERNMENT IS SPENDING, BECAUSE THAT’S THE TRUE TAX.”
“IF YOU’RE NOT PAYING FOR IT IN THE FORM OF EXPLICIT TAXES, YOU’RE PAYING FOR IT INDIRECTLY IN THE FORM OF INFLATION OR BORROWING.”
LEGENDARY WORDS.
California voters approved a $7.5 billion water bond with promises of improving our water infrastructure back in 2014. Now, twelve years later, Napa growers are paying another $99 per acre just to irrigate with groundwater. Where did all that money go, and why do the bills keep coming (this is rhetorical, we all know the answer).
MILTON FRIEDMAN:
"CONSUMERS DON’T PRODUCE INFLATION."
"PRODUCERS DON’T PRODUCE INFLATION.
"INFLATION IS PRODUCED ONLY BY TOO MUCH GOVERNMENT SPENDING AND TOO MUCH GOVERNMENT CREATION OF MONEY, AND NOTHING ELSE."
Do you ever get exhausted by food? Not the food itself, just the endless cycle of deciding what to eat, shopping for it, cooking it, and having to do it all over again every single freaking day.
