@ThamesVelo I cycled through a red light the other day, I accept I should face an FPN but thought it is not possible to have points endorsed on your licence for cycling offences. I saw your chairman is an experienced barrister and wondered if you had any insight?
Hi, @metpoliceuk I received my conditional offer of a fixed penalty notice for going through a red light on a bicycle. I am happy to pay a penalty but don't believe there is a legal mechanism to get points for this offence via a bicycle. Could you clarify.
@cyclingweekly@bikeradar I accept that riding through red lights is wrong and am happy to pay a penalty. I am not happy to accept points on my licence for an offence on my bike when I do not believe it is within the law to endorse my driving licence.

@roadcc I accept that it is not right to go through red lights. However, I am not willing to accept points on my licence when it is not part of the law.
