Reality is very different when you experience it without the comfort of a taxpayer funded car.

@HardeepSPuri , the real problem is not just what you say, but how disconnected you appear from the everyday reality of ordinary vehicle owners.

How can someone entrusted with public policy be so ignorant of the basic problems people face on the ground? Fuel doesn’t magically remain pristine from refinery to vehicle … the entire chain of transportation, handling, dispensing and storage matters. Poor infrastructure and inadequate systems can have consequences that are ultimately borne by the consumer.

And when you travel in a public-funded car, with maintenance and running costs ultimately paid by taxpayers, perhaps dismissing these concerns with arrogance is not the wisest approach.

It’s time politicians were made accountable not just for policies, but also for the lavish public expenditure that sustains them.

Step out of the convoy. Walk among ordinary people. Visit the petrol pumps, workshops and garages. Listen to vehicle owners.

@malpani @grok @elonmusk Education system hasn’t evolved in line with the demographic challenges, like remote places, rural, urban, illiterate parents, economical backwardness, there was focus on pattern of the study under NEP but it ignored d conditions of children.
