@tielborlis2 @Sae1521451 @ManaByte The argument that people are trying to make is that the device is completely and utterly broken (mainly due to Riots "paperweight" comment), however from what I have seen and read, that is not in fact the case. This is simply a hardware ban.

Companies used to hardware ban people by essentially doing the exact same thing and we never saw this kind of out rage about it.

@jpooch21 @AndrewLeezus You ate correct the team has to have the money in escrow, but much much less of the contract accounts for the teams payroll. The Dodgers would be SIGNIFICANTLY deeper into the luxury tax without deferment. That doesn't level the playing field.
