@NancyAFrench I took Amtrak from MSP to NYC and had a roomette. I do not fly so I will do it again, at least once a year since one of my adult sons lives there. While I agree it wasn’t the most comfortable, I did enjoy it! I was able to read, knit, and watch the scenery!

Shout out to Metropolitan Lounge at Chicago’s Union station! After arriving this morning, they were able to book me on an earlier train, getting one of the last available seats. This means I will be home 4 hours earlier. #Amtrak

@Tischonka @PolitiBunny I did it with my 88 year old MIL, dealt with Mn and MD. To make it extra fun, the county in MD only takes requests in person or by mail: no internet requests. We got her ID followed by a passport. Tell me again how women will not be able to vote?
