#CoachingTip If a teacher or professor started screaming at students for making mistakes or not doing things right people would call them bad educators and they’d probably lose their jobs. Coaches often times lose their composure and scream out of control at players thinking it’s an effective teaching method, when in reality when you attack players, whether they show it or not they become defensive and confrontational. As a result they are not listening or learning. It’s ok to be demanding, but if players don’t respect you, because of how you talk to or treat them, they are not going to listen to or give their all for you. Mistakes are teachable moments and screaming is not teaching. #Ap2w
