@chelseahburge We have the parents close by now, but that's it. I didn't realize how long it took for us to build our little village in FL or how much of a difference it made in our overall well being
It is pretty freaking hard to find a church you feel like fits your family.
It's even harder to raise kids without a village. Nearly unbearable, honestly.
I basically only have an X account for weather related news (tornado season!). What's super awesome (/sarcasm) is checking a hashtag for weather updates and every 7th or 8th post is hardcore p*rn. Gag.

While his wording is vile, this could be a great step in mental health for those with long-term needs who are so often treated, released, and left without resources for better outcomes.

But because I've seen church done well - granted, outside of the Bible belt - we'll keep looking. I know the right place is out there. But being without community for so long has been difficult.
Church hunting is exhausting.

I'm not rallying my entire life around a singular cause but I will 100% serve and love the people around me to the best of my ability.
Also, once again, we live in an age where a gruesome murder is splashed across our algorithm without our permission. I saw it without wanting to see it and now I can't unsee it.
