@mysticaquarium Totally not the case when my family went today. Inside the aquarium part it was crowded and 50% wearing masks. Only spent about 5 minutes inside as it felt very unsafe during this covid surge for my unvaccinated kids. Glad I got tickets free but won’t be returning.

@CTDPH @GovNedLamont Please tell county and state vaccine sites to prioritize high risk patients!! Right now the waitlist have to go by age. Unless you have walked in the shoes of a high risk individual you have no idea how devastating Lamont’s change of priority has been. We can do better as CT

@JoshGeballe @johndankosky @GovNedLamont Can you at the very LEAST mandate state and county vaccine waitlist prioritize high risk people? Right now they are still going by age. CT needs to help the most at risk. It’s disgusting that officials are chasing a ranking and disregarding the safety of its most vulnerable.

@JoshGeballe @johndankosky @GovNedLamont I have a question that I haven’t seen addressed- how do you comfort kids of high risk folks who thought their parents would get vaccinated soon and would be able to go back to the school building soon? The kids of high risk have sacrificed so much to keep their adults safe

@GovNedLamont @JoshGabelle PLEASE instruct state/county run vaccine clinics that they can prioritize younger high risk patients. Right now they are saying they can’t vaccinate these people cuz they don’t meet age requirements. This would be the first/easy step to help out our most at risk.

What you did say is that those with comorbidities are a bother and being in top 5 (by mere fractions) is more important than our residents that need the most protection.

@nielslesniewski This is hard to hear (though I’m happy for those getting vaccinated). A loved one is young but with multiple high risk factors and won’t qualify for another 2 months-thanks to Lamont’s cruel change this week. Our kids can’t go back to school until they’re vaccinated.

@veronicawallace @JoshGeballe They deserve to be accountable for this decision and the callous way they rolled it out. 4 days before they said they will let high risk people know in a few days how to be vaccinated. Monday was a gut punch for those that have lived in higher fear of this virus.
