Abdul El-Sayed Is a Paper Doctor With an Empty Résumé
The people's champ has never treated a patient, and the little work he has done hasn't improved health in Detroit
By Charlie LeDuff @Charlieleduff
A cop told me recently that he got a call from a rich white man complaining about a suspicious black man roaming his neighborhood.
Cops hate those kinds of calls. It puts them in a bad spot. But cops have to respond to calls. So he did. Turned out, the black man was an Amazon driver. And naturally, the white man had a sign in his yard that read “Black Lives Matter.”
Now, there’s a new sign on the white man’s lawn: “Abdul for U.S. Senate.”
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed is running on a platform of good union jobs, money out of politics, and Medicare for All. I don’t understand the attraction. It’s doubtful the rich white man ever worked in a factory or has to worry about medical bills.
Let’s call it virtue signaling for virtue’s sake. It takes the sting out of white privilege.
For you workday humps who’d like to know something about the candidate beyond slick 30-second commercials, it’s worth noting that El-Sayed never worked in a factory, and aside from some part-time gigs at various colleges, his resume is thin. Very thin.
The first thing you need to know is that El-Sayed is a paper doctor. He’s never treated a patient, is not licensed in Michigan, and never passed the board examinations. He can’t so much as dispense aspirin from an ambulance.
The second thing you need to know is that El-Sayed, 41, has worked just two real jobs in his adult life, totaling less than four years, according to his resume. This from a guy who wants to be senator for life.
What’s troubling is where he worked and what he actually accomplished: He was appointed as the top public health official in Detroit and then Wayne County. Both departments are an historical quagmire of corruption and incompetence. Believe me, I know, I helped put one director behind bars for, among other things, embezzling public health dollars to pay for hair plugs.
For his part, El-Sayed was appointed as Detroit’s health director in 2015 by then-Mayor Mike Duggan. At that time, as the city was emerging from its historic bankruptcy, El-Sayed’s health department was funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars into a pet program run by Duggan’s mistress. The program was supposed to lower infant mortality rates in the city.
After just 17 months on the job, El-Sayed resigned to run for governor. Then Mistress-gate scandal exploded and infant mortality skyrocketed. Nothing changed.
To El-Sayed’s credit, before resigning as health director, he commissioned a report that showed Duggan’s demolition blitz was poisoning the city’s children. That program is now the subject of a sprawling FBI investigation. However, El-Sayed the candidate has said little about it.
A couple years and cups of coffee later, El-Sayed was appointed in 2023 as the medical chief of Wayne County. According to his own campaign commercial, El-Sayed’s biggest accomplishment was a partnership with a nonprofit that supplied 16,000 eye glasses to needy children. What the commercial does not tell you is that the nonprofit existed for a decade beforehand and the county’s portion was funded primarily by Biden’s Covid bucks. One-time inflationary federal dollars is no solution to a health crisis.
All the while, life expectancy in Detroit continues to crater from pre-pandemic levels, hovering around 70 years old. That’s hardly an effective record.
There are also serious questions about El-Sayed’s campaigns finance problems, including indications of straw donors, actual contributors blowing past legal limits, and a Super PAC committed to spending millions of dollars on his behalf.
Then there are the disturbing questions regarding the mental fitness of those he surrounds himself with, including a former staffer charged with terrorism, a current staffer who says all white women are racist (ironically, that staffer herself is a white woman), and a prominent podcaster who once said America deserved 9/11. And can we get a timeline of when he actually lived in Michigan?
But those are stories for another day.
Go ahead and plant your yard signs rich white guy. That's your right. Just remember, you reap what you sow.
Never forget that every one of the criminals in this picture were fully aware that “Trump/Russia Collusion” was a complete hoax that literally constituted a coup attempt against the Constitutional will of the American people.
It’s the worst political crime in U.S. history.
NEVER FORGET.😡
Never Forget…
Deborah Birx lied to President Trump and manipulated data about guidelines, lockdowns and vaccines.
Anthony Fauci made Remdesivir and ventilators hospital protocol even though he knew it was killing patients.
They must pay for their crimes.
Pure Evil. No Mercy!
REMINDER!
Before the libs decide to try and create their own definition of what Juneteenth is, allow me to help you all out with a short history lesson.
It’s the day when black individuals found out that the first Republican President had signed the Emancipation Proclamation freeing them from the physical bondage of the Democrat Party. It was two years later, on July 4th 1867, that 150 of those same Black men met in Houston and established the Republican Party of Texas. The Democrats, in response, established the Ku Klux Klan.
Today, the Democrats are economically enslaving Blacks and have turned inner city communities into modern plantations of welfare and economic dependence.
Juneteenth is a celebration of why the Republican Party was established in 1854, the abolition of slavery. Only a flaming incompetent idiot would give the party of the donkey any credit for Juneteenth.
Hope this helps!
But we’ll never hear from the American combat vets who took their own lives after being pressured to stay silent about the unimaginable.
I heard stories worse than this from an Army Ranger who served in Afghanistan. Then he silenced the voices and left a 5-year-old daughter and wife behind.
Follow Delta Force legend @BlastingThrough. Search his account for “moral injury.” Read every post.
@iranidaturan Trump made promises and he always looks like he is failing to come through just before the successful fulfillment of his promise.
This isn't over. it won't be over until his strategy is fully played out. And no one can ever see what that strategy is before hand.
Look, I get it. A lot of us are demoralized watching RINOs and Chamber of Commerce types run for office. They talk tough but sell us out for cheap labor and open borders every single time.
But here’s the brutal truth: sitting home or splitting votes isn’t an option.
This midterm, we vote the RINOs out and replace them with people of real substance — fighters who actually stop immigration .
If we don’t act and Democrats regain power, they will flood us with forty million more illegal aliens, which they will then legalize. Then the country is lost forever.
This is the hill.
Stand.
Vote like your future depends on it.
Because it does.
When my son got one of his first jobs with a manufacturing company, he complained how he was “doing all the work” making parts that sold for hundreds of dollars a piece while only making $20 an hour.
“It’s unfair to the workers!” he said.
“You sound like a liberal.” I said.
He made a classic mistake I see people make over and over. They only look at the hard cost of goods and final sale price. They don’t understand anything in between.
I pointed out that the company he worked for only makes an 8% profit. Their total profit on that $400 part was really only about $32.
“There’s no way.” he said. “The bar stock only costs about $8.”
To him, his argument was logical. Every day his hands turned $8 worth of aluminum bars into thousands of dollars of product, but he only got about $160 of that. That seemed unfair.
I asked him “What about all of the other people in the company? The ones who aren’t making the parts.”
He hadn’t thought about that.
I explained that every hand along that product’s journey from creation to the customer is another person who has to get paid. The engineers who designed and tested it, long before you made it. The person who packed it in a box. The person who made the manuals that go with it. The person who answers the phone when a customer has a problem later. The people who order the materials and maintain the machines and sweep the floors and clean the toilets after you leave. The accountants and lawyers and insurance companies who keep the business organized, compliant, and protected if the part you made fails.
All of those people are paid for from those parts you made. And all of them get their paychecks whether the parts are sold right away or not.
On top of that, there’s the cost of the facility itself. The building, heating and cooling it, and every piece of equipment inside it.
All of those costs are paid before the owner makes one cent.
“At the end of the day, you’re actually making more money from every unit you make than he is.“
He understood it after that.
Running a business is the hardest way to make money.
Roughly 90% of entrepreneurs will fail. Don’t get me wrong, the reward can be great if you’re one of the 10% that makes it, but that results in a confirmation bias. You only see the winners. You never heard about the 90% that failed before they made it.
You see the guy in the big office who looks like he doesn’t work as hard as you, but you never saw what it took to get there.
You never saw the times he went without a paycheck so he could make payroll. You never felt the stress of being denied necessary capital, or losing an important customer, or under-bidding on a contract and losing money on every unit. You’ve never felt the repercussions of making the wrong call.
If you mess up, one customer is marginally inconvenienced, and you can fix it with another $8 part. If HE messes up, you and everyone else have no job.
You can be the guy on top if you’re willing to take the risks they took and do the work they did to get there.
Or you can do your part and collect your paycheck while someone else worries about that stuff.
And that’s OK too, because the world needs both.
The beauty of capitalism is that you get to choose which one you want to be.
Let's discuss the Insurrection Act.
The Insurrection Act isn’t some dusty relic for polite debate… it’s a goddamn constitutional scalpel forged in 1807, honed through blood and rebellion, and it sits in President Trump’s hands right now like a live grenade with the pin already halfway out.
Section 252 of Title 10, United States Code, is crystal fucking clear:
whenever “unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States” make it “impracticable to enforce the laws” by ordinary means, the President can call forth the military and militia to suppress it.
Washington used it against the Whiskey Rebellion. Lincoln invoked it to crush secessionist treason. Eisenhower deployed it to ram integration down the throats of Southern governors who thought they could nullify the Constitution.
Every single time, the message was the same:
when the republic’s survival demands it, the Executive Branch doesn’t ask permission from the very vermin blocking the law.
And right now?
Congress is the insurrection.
These corrupt idiots…both sides of the uniparty sewer…have turned the People’s House into a racketeering enterprise.
Insider trading on a scale that would send any street hood to federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison for life.
They exempted themselves from insider-trading laws while trading on classified briefings, then passed 6,000-page omnibus slush funds at 3 a.m. while the country burned.
They weaponized the DOJ, FBI, and intelligence apparatus against political opponents in open violation of the Bill of Rights.
They flooded the borders with military-age males from adversary nations, funded endless foreign wars while veterans slept in tents, and printed trillions in fiat funny money that gutted the middle class.
That isn’t governance. That is organized rebellion against the sovereign will of the American people.
Psychologically, they’re terrified because they know what they are:
hollow men, midwits in $5,000 suits whose only real skill is narrative control and graft.
They project their own treason onto Trump because the alternative…admitting the system they’ve rigged for decades is collapsing under the weight of their greed…would force them to confront the abyss they created.
So they scream “democracy dies in darkness” while they’re the ones blacking out the windows and locking the doors.
Trump doesn’t need their permission.
He doesn’t need 60 Senate votes.
He doesn’t need another toothless “investigation.”
One invocation of the Insurrection Act, backed by the plain text of the Constitution (Article II, Section 3:
“he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed”), and the military…loyal, apolitical, oath-bound to the Constitution, not to Chuck Schumer’s slush-fund machine…can restore order with lethal precision.
Corrupt members obstructing lawful federal functions?
Removed.
Facilities used to coordinate lawfare?
Secured.
The administrative state’s chokehold on the Republic?
Snapped like a chicken’s neck.
This isn’t fantasy. This is the law.
The same law the regime cheered when it was used against parents at school boards or border agents doing their jobs.
Turnabout is not just fair play…it’s constitutional justice.
The country doesn’t need more hearings, more “norms,” more slow-walked theater while Rome burns. It needs a lion in the Oval Office to roar once, enforce the law without mercy, and let the chips fall where they may.
The corrupt will cry “coup.” The people will call it deliverance.
President Trump: the Act is yours. Use it. Clean house with fire and finality.
The time for half-measures died in 2024.
This is the hour of the axe.

What's about to happen to Candace Owens is...going to be ugly.
And she deserves all of it.
She literally defamed people on video for months, people are who are still trying to recover from having lost Charlie, by claiming they were involved in planning and then carrying out his murder.
It's one of the greatest vicious psy-ops ever.
On the one hand, she's viciously anti-Trump.
On the other, a lot of Trump fans love Candace because she's spent 7 months 'investigating' and monetizing the "The Trump plot to kill Charlie for Israel To Get To The War In Iran!", where Trump is on it, and part of the cover up.
If you tell me you support Trump, but your STILL swallowing this vile anti-Trump witch's brew, this is where you and I will part ways.
And good riddance to bad trash.
President Trump didn’t give a eulogy at a former Klan members funeral , that was Joe Biden.
President Trump didn’t sleep with a Chinese spy, that was Eric Swalwell.
President Trump didn’t spy on an incoming president, that was Obama.
President Trump didn’t have classified information on his private server, that was Hillary Clinton.
President Trump didn’t make a fortune through stock trading, that was the Pelosi’s.
President Trump is probably the cleanest president in the history of the country.
This man is a saint fighting his way through a den of vipers.
The only scandals he is ever involved in are the ones that are completely manufactured by the left and the mainstream media.
Today I sent a formal request to Vice President Vance, the National Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, and the DOJ seeking an investigation into reports of widespread fraud in Michigan.
It’s time to end the abuse of Michigan taxpayers and declare WAR on fraud.
John Thune isn’t stupid or weak.
He knows exactly what he’s doing.
He’s cunning.
You don’t rise to Senate Majority Leader if you’re stupid or weak.
If he doesn’t get the SAVE America Act passed he’ll allow Dems to cheat.
The actions of a traitor.
Worse than Benedict Arnold.
