Evening has come and thoughts naturally turn to the divine. The ancient Brihadeeswarar Temple in Thanjavur is truly special - built in 1010 CE by Raja Raja Chola I.

This massive temple stands 66 metres tall with a single 80-ton granite stone placed right at the top without any modern machines. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and even today one can feel Lord Shiva’s powerful presence there.

May Bholenath bless us all with peace this evening.
