I've taken the app off my phone, I find the attitudes from some quarters frankly a disgrace, every blessing on all my siblings ordained this weekend, may your ministry be a blessing to the communities you serve. God's call on all our lives is to be celebrated not denigrated.
What a wonderful service this afternoon as we celebrated the Revd Alison Hardy , the Revd Dr Sarah Hills, the Revd Sue McCormack & the Revd Louise Taylor-Kenyon installed as non-residentiary Canons of @nclcathedral, commissioned the Revd Dr Sarah Moon as Bishop’s Advisor for Women’s Ministry & also marked 30 years since the first ordinations of women priests with some of those ordained in 1994 in attendance.
Today we celebrate all the women ordained as priests @ncldiocese. This afternoon, four women will be installed as Non-Residentiary Canons and @lleuad will be commissioned as @bishopnewcastle’s Advisor for Women’s Ministry. Join the live stream at 4pm: https://t.co/P6MirwYHiq 🎉
This is a fantastic post for the right priest, diverse supportive deanery, lots of potential to really make a difference to the community and opportunity for growth. Please do share, and consider if God is calling you here.

Yesterday we welcomed families to our fun afternoon and Easter Egg hunt... we welcomed more than 50 children plus their grown-ups to engage with the Easter story and get an egg... (we do it before Easter so any remaining eggs can be distributed by the food bank)
In this week when we mark 30yrs of women's priestly ordination I've been mostly catching up with admin and prepping for Holy Week and Easter. Meeting with the local Para assoc to plan Falklands memorial. Helping a Parish in vacancy, supervising ordinands praying and reading.
Time with the north west youth partnership board (wards in the northwest of North Tyneside borough) this morning followed by baking for a Fairtrade Coffee morning tomorrow... varied and joyful.
