"You can't play politics when it works in your favour and then demand silence when it doesn't".
This is for not just bts and hybe but the fandom at large. You can't praise them for boycotting grammys but then say they're not political when it's time to criticize them
@JuanaYaezcampo1@bts_bighit I agree. I do believe that not responding to the criticism is more of the problem. Women are rightfully hurt and expected more because we COULD expect more based on their words. A statement to separate yourself from violence against women should not be that hard imo.
@MNIMarieLuna@bts_bighit And tbh I BELIEVE that they are good people based on their past actions but as I don‘t personally know them, I will never know if they actually are. There has to be a certain distance and weariness as a fan in my opinion :)
@MNIMarieLuna@bts_bighit I totally get that but what is more disappointing than even the picture, at least for me, is ARMY having this discourse, explaining why they are hurt and seeing no acknowledgment and even trying to divert the attention. That seems deliberate at this point.
@kisshyz_@bts_bighit I don‘t know how this is relevant to this discussion as if one person‘s mistake validates another to make the same mistake… But yes, I did. It‘s an issue that is far bigger than fandoms sadly as abusers feels safe because people still support them
@orul8ce@AlfreR8@bts_bighit I already saw them twice but thanks for worrying about me. Don‘t know wether I‘d go again because I personally don‘t go to artists whose values don‘t seem align with mine. Pains me to say being a fan for over a decade but my values are stronger.
