Sanji bums sayin "Oda doesn't understand the character he wrote"😭😭😭
Like I always said, they created a different version of Sanji as a saint in their head, when in reality, he's disgusting
He even put poison and Razor blades in Zoro's food💔
before the weekly rankings update later, let’s all remember zoro was the first and only character to hit #1 in every region 🐐

Unpopular opinion: the hate towards Zoro feels way too forced. A lot of people just repeat agendas and content creator takes without actually trying to understand the character. On social media it’s become normal to downplay him and minimize everything he does, to the point where many reduce Zoro to "the serious swordsman who only fights and badass". When he’s actually one of the most consistent and well-written characters in OP.
People act like good writing only means having an insanely tragic backstory and/or going through massive personality changes. But good character writing can also mean consistency, subtle development, staying true to core ideals and maintaining coherence over time. And Zoro excels at that! His personality, principles and mindset stay solid even when the circumstances change.
There’s also this unfair criticism that “Zoro has no emotional depth”, when he absolutely does. He just expresses it differently. Zoro isn’t emotionally explosive, he internalizes everything. His pain, frustration and pressure are shown through his actions. Sometimes he even blames himself for being weak and pushes himself harder because of it. That’s good writing too.
You can prefer other characters, it's okey. But saying Zoro is badly written just shows you never understood the kind of character Oda was trying to create. I just hope more people give him a real chance instead of blindly following other people’s opinions.
