Dudley is confused about Archie’s passing, searching for him. He wants to be very close & he’s not eating. I can get him to take him pills & a little food with effort. He’s never alone & we will spend the holiday weekend focusing on him. This is a difficult time.

Ahead of last weekend's race @Daytona, Theo, a 10-year-old heart patient at Atrium Health, met with Jeff Gordon on the Hendrick Motorsports campus and then joined Chase Elliott's #9 team for the #NASCAR weekend as the team's honorary pit crew member.

Urgent Care on Saturday, this afternoon in ER. She has two serious infections. She is home now, and on 3 antibiotics.

Bert was very highly regarded in life, and on the farm.

Here he is, strolling down the road, with the sheep gathered along the fence watching him pass. I like to think they recognised what I did: that he was the most gentle of souls.

Bert was my king.

And perhaps, for a few hundred sheep, he was theirs too. 👑🐑
