By having these tough conversations with others, it can really change the way people think, because maybe they never HAD to think differently. I was really touched that i was able to give someone a different point of view and in turn, they exercised their right 🤍

Last weekend I had a conversation with some family members about the issues facing our country. Some of my female relatives stated they weren’t “into” politics because they just didn’t care. I explained to them that by saying that, it’s showing just how privileged they are.

Yesterday one of them pulled me to the side and let me know that I really opened her eyes up, and that she never viewed not voting as a sign of privilege. She said she wanted to get more into politics & let me know she casted her vote on Tuesday.
