God may seem silent, but He is always working.
God works through everyday, mundane activities and major events in our lives.
No one and nothing can stop what God ordains.
Happy and Blessed New Year 2026

On 27th August 2010, I had the privilege of standing at Uhuru Park, witnessing the hope-filled Promulgation of the Kenyan Constitution.
15 years later, I was honored once again — this time, to sit on a panel reflecting on the Gains & Misses of the 2010 Constitution.

BREAKING: 31 people were killed in Saba Saba protests in Kenya on Monday, @HakiKNCHR says.
That’s nearly 3 times more than police reported in their statement that praised officers for “restraint” despite widespread reports of brutality
At least 10 people have died and 29 people have been injured in anti-government protests across Kenya on Monday, according to the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights. https://t.co/u4pJTxO1uz
It is regrettable that the heavily dispersed and relatively non-disruptive protests of the day were responded to with unmeted violence and deprivation of basic, fundamental rights, including free movement. The Public Order Act does not contemplate the suspension of people's ordinary work and business by the police to prevent demonstrations, rather it mandates the police to protect those who choose to go about their ordinary business amid democratic expressions through demonstrations.
We are saddened by the increasing death toll and loss of property that was recorded today. We ought to have taken this day to collectively introspect on how well the democratic space that was fought for on this day all those 35 years ago is working for our country. Instead, we continue to nurse the wounds and count the casualties of political repression and violation of the rule of law. This is not the Kenya that the heroes of saba saba gave up their lives for.
According To This Chest Thumping Zero Performance Government They Believe Anyone Criticising Them Has Been Paid.. So Who Paid All The Participants of Nairobi City Marathon To Chant WANTAM Slogan ?
Chelimo Njoroge is one of a few women who have enough breast milk to feed their own children and still have enough to spare.
She decided to donate her milk to close friends and family who need it, and is now also calling for Kenya to create a national breast milk reserve.
In our third panel of the day, moderated by Chelimo Njoroge (@llyzketer ) from ForumCiv, we engaged in a vibrant and thought-provoking conversation on: "Between Activism and Artivism: How Art Judges Democracy, Secretes Discourses on Democracy, and Invents Forms of Democratic Expression in Africa."
The panel brought together powerful voices from across the creative and academic space:
🎨 Godfrey Mwampembwa (GADO) – Celebrated Cartoonist.
📲 Justine Wanda – Digital Creator. @justinewanda
📚Humphrey Sipalla – Lecturer, Kabarak University
The discussion delved into how art and digital expression serve not only as tools of resistance and civic engagement, but also as imaginative spaces where democracy is challenged, reshaped, and reimagined.
From satire to storytelling, the session reminded us that artivism is central to protecting and expanding democratic space in Africa.
