Thanks for hinting, indeed reduces startup times from many minutes down to a few seconds!
Just one thing: what is "nslvice.exe"? Not on my PC... #dominoforever
@HCL_CollabSup@HCL_CollabDev Notes 10 Client and Designer on separate screens. Set focus to Designer: embedded SAMETIME disappears entirely. Focus back to client: SAMETIME re-appears. Deleting workspace folder etc doesn't help. New "Either-Chat-OR-Code" feature? #dominoforever
@john_d_curtis_ Never use hidden design, only very rarely use external LSS with %INCLUDE; too much hassle to debug, and 99% of our Domino projects are indivdual development delivered open-code anyways
@HCL_CollabSup@HCL_CollabDev Update: apparently solved by doing the good-old 'delete workspace then configure everything from scratch' tour. Hint: make a backup of workspace first then recover applications\eclipse\*
@HCL_CollabSup@HCL_CollabDev opening first nsf after starting Designer V 10 takes 60 to 80 secs (local or server based), compared to 20 secs on V 9.0.1. From then on its quite fast. Fast machines w/ 32GB RAM and Notes installed on an SSD #dominoforever#IBMNotes
@HCL_CollabSup: bug in 10.0.1FP1 LotusScript debugger: button "Close Debugger" ends debugging but leaves "Tools > Debug LotusScript" in Designer enabled while disabling it in the client. Next script I run starts debugger. Common bug, or just at my installation?
@DavidLeedy@RenatoCasati@JOldenburger You're right, and I'm aware of that. Thus my disappointment that there might be no roadmap at all for a a powerful technology that was introduced only 10 years ago and adapted very well by our customer base
