@little_wow if you brush every day you won't see much shedding, but brush dog outside or in garage so you're not spreading dander around the house as you brush. vacuum w/HEPA filter is a must to contain dander. My biggest rec is Allerpet Dog - works if used often: https://t.co/uIaVRZ2auZ

If I learned anything from the last time I said "libraries should do X thing", it was that instead of saying your revolutionary idea, you should stop and ask yourself why it hasn't happened yet. The short answer is almost always "because capitalism".

Police frequently use pretext reasons for traffic stops and then justify car searches claiming they “smelled the odor of marijuana.” It’s not uncommon for the search to reveal no marijuana. Another reason to ban pretext stops and legalize marijuana.

@mjthomas43 @chrisbulock @jlriordan @straikat @topshelver @sunshinejacinda Yeah that’s what I’m doing for our own internal measures, and of course I include context notes on IPEDS data survey, but I think they should allow us to count these titles this year. It would allow us to make trend observations nationally re: responses to pandemic

But I do think over the years IPEDS, working with ACRL, has slowly become at least a bit more aligned to numbers librarians actually think matter.
