It's crazy that Kevin waited til the worse possible situation. Should've had a chance last week after the first half, definitely in the 4th quarter. This week no excuse after the 1st int (let alone the fumble). Strand should have taken over.

Jack Strand couldn't possibly have been handed a worse situation, so I'm not gonna ding him for anything today. His athleticism is a nice boost and I thought he generally looked more functional than Cooper Rush, even with backups. He should've been prepped to start this week.

To be clear I know Rush didn't get all the first reps as he split with Penix but my point is between rush and strand. he did get all the first reps when comparing them soley. Strand got none

Because it's frustrating to see a guy who got all first reps play like a QB who never played a day in his life. At least with strand if he makes mistakes it makes sense. We'll die on the hill that we let the unproven talent have a shot, vs keeping a proven failure

Many Falcons fans/media have had a problem with Rush splitting 1st team reps with Penix all week, because Rush needs the reps to be better prepared …

But now you want a guy who has been running scout team all week, with ZERO first team reps, to come into the game??
