FLASHBACK FRIDAY: We of a certain age remember the days when telephone numbers used to start with NAMES instead of digits. The first two letters of the name were capitalized, and they corresponded with the first two digits of the phone number on an old-style rotary or push-button phone.

I don’t remember my complete phone number when I was a child, but I do know that it started with WAlnut 1.
