@d_in_bridge @markaprovost Basically burns hotter, with less harmful emissions, you’ll typically find railway locomotives and traction engines burning that stuff. Coal powerplants use worse types but are designed to catch those emissions

@SudderyM @Tsdragon4 The 5 exported to Australia were all used on the Richmond Vale Railway, the same railway as the ROD’s that worked here. I believe a set of axles also survive but not sure about that

5. Lastly, please don’t forget the passengers/survivors, 95% of AU‘s do, especially in adaptations. The engines aren’t the only ones who are trying to survive.

1. Timeline. The original had timestamps that didn’t make any sense when you tried to form a consistent timeline of events. Also please make it longer than a fortnight.
2. Location, especially when mutations matter.

4. Figure out how characters die, Toby actually failing to save his passengers before ending himself makes more sense.

This rewrite looks promising, and I hope it’s worth the watch or read depending on how it releases.

Although I do have a number of suggestions that I think may improve and separate it from most of the other AU’s that exist.
