@PiggyKropotkinn It seems the main incentive NOT to do that is bc it’s boring. Which for a lot of gamers isn’t that big a deterrent, as grinding is normalized, but I don’t think I could play that mode for 3 hours straight.

@basedgizmo I feel like people forget it’s more a show about characters than *anything happening*, so when there’s three talky episodes in a row everyone is like “omggggg when is something going to happen???”

@BadFilmTakes1 There’s some unexplainable aspect of video game storytelling that can make me just shut down in cutscenes even when I really like the game, and thankfully I’m not having that issue here. They did a really good job of synthesizing story and game.

@UtterlyVapid I also feel like people are neglecting the fact that we keep finding out info about Nikki that appears to come out of nowhere… bc Bear didn’t know. It feels like a constant gut punch after seeing the “shell”, and feels way more impactful learning about who she really is.

@PiggyKropotkinn Biggest change they need to make that they didn’t directly address is the barter/upgrade system. Takes too long to get some later upgrades, and then you may not even engage with the barter system bc tracking what’s still needed for nodes is a little unclear.

@rockmarooned Marvel has a genuine star with passion signed with them, and they just keep doing her disservices. A villain of the week show with Vellani is basically the ideal Disney+ project they could have done.

@bigmoviehouse @regularaugust Will say they did keep it the full week at the two theaters despite dropping VOD, and it did screen in other countries. It just feels like a really weird case bc A24 actually pushed the advertising then just made it disappear.
