What made Indiana the right choice for 2027 safety Brady Scott? -- "Playing for the best coach in the country"

Used to be staunchly a Claussen pickle guy..would not purchase another pickle. There is now legitimate competition. Well done @GrillosPickles#TheyreABigDill
Random Hoosiers TD OTD. Against Iowa in 2012, it was deja vu all over again for Cody Latimer on this drive, with two sideline grabs needing reviews. He scored all 3 IU TDs with 116 yards on 7 catches. Cameron Coffman and Nate Sudfeld combined for 416 yds in the IU win 24-21.
Greg Sankey asked about the SEC in CFP against the Big Ten: "If you look at the entirety of our league, we are by far the most competitive, the strongest football by far."
“If you can throw for 500 yards on somebody, you’re probably going to win the game. But if you can run for 500, you’re guaranteed to win the game and it takes their soul.”
- Rich Rodriguez
NEW: Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko on College Football Playoff expansion talk:
"What does Mike Elko want? 40. Then I won’t get fired. It's ok to make it hard to get to the playoff."
Elko continued: "None of us are answering for the good of the sport. We’re answering for the good of ourselves."

The real life version of taking your ball and going home. Can’t coach well enough, recruit well enough, pay players well enough..we’ll play somewhere else 😢
NEW: Georgia's Kirby Smart on the SEC breaking away if national rules can't be agreed upon:
"I've said this for a long time to our president, I've been a huge advocate that if we can't find rules that everybody plays by, then we should play on our own. I'm not afraid of that. I'm not afraid to break away and say that our conference is strong enough to go out and play."

So the conference of coaches who say “Well hey the SEC grind is just different!” Want to add more games to the season..can’t think of a worse idea. But hey, they need more teams to make it and need the money clearly..so I get it. Money talks
Eli Drinkwitz, who was the first person to bring up a 24-team CFP last year:
"I was ahead of my time."
Also said the people who jumped on got the details wrong.
Blessed to have completed the Murph today:
Bench 8x3
Squat 8x3
4 max velocity flys 😂
Respect to those who can do it, I cannot. Tried it last year and never again.
When the SEC was winning, the rest of the sport was told it was because how battle tested they were. Now that they aren’t, the same thing is spun into an excuse.
I have no earthly idea where these SEC guys get this “our schedule is tougher” crap from..by what metric? The rankings? Wonder why so many SEC teams are in the rankings..? 🤔
Translation: “We are an excuse program. We make excuses for lack of results. It’s okay if our players are poorly coached and we don’t develop them, we will lean on the crutch of scheduling and buy ourselves another season..”
NEW: Steve Sarkisian took a shot at Texas Tech while discussing how the College Football Playoff Committee factors strength of schedule👀
“There's a team in our state that plays in another conference that has a schedule that I would argue if I played with our twos and our threes, we could go undefeated, and they'll probably make the CFP this year.”
