@BritHugoboom Yes! A couple of days after giving birth, I developed a 101° fever, though I felt fine. I went back to the hospital, where they re-admitted me overnight just in case. Nothing was wrong. Later, I found out that some moms develop a fever when their milk comes in! Wish I had known!

@SethDillon My Dad died when I was a kid, what I wouldn't give to have had more quality time with him. You bet I played with my kids! Now that they're teens we still hang out together, too! I don't think I will regret this lol

Amazing: LA schools will eliminate personal devices in K and 1st grade, and limit use in grades 2-5, and give parents more options. I think this will catch on nationally:

@CraigJStrachan @LukeBarnett Oh yeah, that area was hit hard, so heartbreaking. A friend lost her house on Upper Tuna Canyon. We were up on Hillside across from Froggy’s, a tiny street that dead ends into the State Park. If a tree went down during a fire, there would be no way out.

@starandseen @Patterdude Kaiser here as well. At 12 my kids records disappeared from online portal. Can't see past records, test results or future appointments, even when I myself make the appointment. You can get your kids to grant you access to acct.- via snail mail- bonkers!

@Coleidoscopes @VeledaNacht I did, yes, I read your point about not just focusing on stretch marks. And yes, there is always some risk of serious outcomes for the mother, but the messaging that all women are “wrecked” just isn’t true. It sends out a weird message to women who are thinking about motherhood.

@Coleidoscopes @VeledaNacht What? This is nonsense. Two babies here and exactly same as before, not even a single stretch mark. I know I'm fortunate but it's completely false to say ALL women are wrecked by pregnancy and birth. Also the word wrecked is a weird choice. Altered? Affected?

@CNN Could it be one of those chemo creams used on areas with precancerous skin lesions to prevent them from turning into basal or squamous cell carcinoma? The cream gives you an awful peeling, red rash before it clears up

@FloreFlos @Beas957215 Yes, planting smaller perennial shrubs, like the lavender, hydrangeas or roses shown here, is a great idea. Even better, choose shrubs that are native to your area! Then, simply swap out a few smaller annuals in the front of the border each season, or plant seeds for easy color.
