This is absurd! Oregon WANTS sex offenders running free in the state. This makes every Oregonian at elevated risk for a sex crime against them!

Oregon Democrats in the legislature want to make Oregon a SANCTUARY STATE for SEX OFFENDERS.

SB 821, at the request of Gov. Tina Kotek, repeals Oregon laws that requires registration / reporting of sex offenders, reduces parole board supervision of sex offenders and eliminates the deadline for the parole board to assess the risk level of sex offenders released into the community.

There were 98 submitted testimonies of which 94 OPPOSED this bill. But with a Democrat Supermajority, I'm sure this will pass.
