An iconic figure in our sport.
A two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, Kyle Busch truly earned the designation of one of NASCAR's greats. Kyle's Michigan moment came in 2011 when he earned a NASCAR Cup Series win at the track. Beyond the Cup Series, Rowdy found MIS victory lane twice in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series and once in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series.
We extend our thoughts and prayers to the Busch family.
We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.
Prior to tonight's series opener vs. the Yankees, the #WhiteSox added right-handed pitcher Brent Honeywell to the active roster and optioned left-hander Sammy Peralta to Class AAA Charlotte.
Seeing Brent Honeywell Jr. make his MLB debut this year after 4 arm surgeries was truly special.
Our guy also pitched in 55 regular games (including 27 starts) with us & won 2 Triple-A National Championships in the Bull City.
Thank you, Honey.
And good luck with Oakland!
