Sorry @paul_gattis but you should never refer to Tuberville as “a staunch supporter of the military.” A staunch supporter of the military doesn’t single-handedly jeopardize military readiness and national security by withholding approval for promotions as recognized by former Democratic and Republican Secretaries of Defense and basically everyone, including most of his Republican colleagues. A staunch supporter of the military doesn’t defend white nationalists in the military and white nationalists in general or politicize the military by engaging in personal culture wars. He is proving by words and actions that he is anything but a staunch supporter of the US military.
