But the fact remains is that Jelly Roll has steered clear of making political comments about who he does or does not support. He hasn’t endorsed anyone publicly and has specifically stated he doesn’t follow politics enough to understand policies. He has said he respects the position of the presidential office which I really respect. To me, he was “roasting” Trump and trying to be funny. Although I realize he did it on a show of someone who openly hates Trump, it has become a lose/lose situation for a lot of artists if they have to pick and choose whose talk show they can be on if they have to do so based on the political beliefs of the host. That seems ridiculous to me and is why our country has so much self-inflicted division. Let music be music and wish everyone would stop making the arts political, esp for artists that aren’t using their platform to push political beliefs. For that matter, for all artists as I still like Taylor Swift’s music despite her supporting Kamala and it honestly makes my life way more enjoyable! Her political beliefs don’t change the sound of her music. Not to mention, I’m a long-time Chiefs fan and happy she snagged herself a really hot husband from the Midwest that knows how to treat a lady right!
@notStanleyTucci Cigna also declined my anesthesia AFTER they approved my total knee replacement. Got it straightened out eventually but the added cost/effort to do so was completely unnecessary and makes one heavily question the entire insurance industry!
Wife and mom here of a family of 6 and early retired VP of a publicly traded company who worked my ass off at my job for nearly 30 years AND helped to make/plan meals for our family to focus on saving money - which included completely avoiding door dash companies. After reading your post, sounds like someone needs to grow up a lot, shed some of those entitlement feelings you have, and spend a little extra time saving money for meals - like fetching your meal (walk, drive, public transport) if you can’t or don’t want to make it versus spending time writing and engaging with a bitch post on X. Then again, you likely made the post for engagement purposes so job well done if that was your main intent as I rarely post on X!
The @malcotheatres in FSM, especially after the remodel, is very nice and I have never experienced the “feral animals” behavior at a theater in Fort Smith in the nearly 30 years I’ve lived here. Pass on going if you don’t want to go but wish you would avoid bad mouthing local businesses that our city really needs, especially ones that provide entertainment for people of all ages.
Yes, Fort Smith, AR. This area has considerable need for more development and infrastructure, especially considering it is strategically located in the River Valley of AR. Fort Smith benefits from its position along I-40, a major transcontinental east-west artery connecting the West Coast to the East. The ongoing completion of I-49 (with a critical new bridge over the Arkansas River already underway) will create a seamless north-south interstate link from the Canadian border to New Orleans and the Gulf. Complementing this highway network is the city’s location on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, providing cost-effective barge access for bulk cargo to the Mississippi River and beyond. This rare combination of interstate convergence, river port facilities, and rail support makes Fort Smith an increasingly attractive multimodal logistics and distribution hub and is much need for further strategic development given the ongoing competitive growth happening in NW Arkansas.
@WallStreetApes Had it happen to our family as well with not just one (but two) HP printers we got for two of our four kids for college. A complete scam and will not buy another HP printer! Two brand new printers that will only “print” blank pages @HP !!
@LauraLoomer I was a Trump voter, yet find myself calling out another disgusting post from @LauraLoomer on the tragic Reiner deaths! All you do with posts like this is drive people to the other side.
Sorry but you are exactly the type of person causing the divide in the country and the "type" unfortunately exists on both sides of the aisle. You are no better than those on the left that posted vile comments after Charlie Kirk's horrific death. I voted for Trump (still stand behind my vote due to the current policies versus the last administration) but having a far-right, crazy person like you say my outrage to his post is "fake" is yet another disgusting post to the very sad deaths in the Reiner family.
As someone that voted for Trump, it is disgusting and I am once again counting the days until he is out of office as he has no interest in bringing peace or uniting our country with a post like this. As the old saying goes... two wrongs don't make a right!! I was so hopeful he would behave differently in his 2nd term (after surviving the assassination attempt), but I find myself turning off the TV, yet again, when he speaks publicly. I retired early as an officer of a publicly traded company after nearly 30 years of service due to a narcissistic leader (wasn't worth the sacrifice of my mental health) and sadly, Trump continues to be the poster child for narcissism.
THIS is an amazing and very well thought out post with a very solid suggested solution. We have a family of six (four in college) and are quite secure financially (not eligible for SNAP). I am convinced a huge part of our financial security to date has been a proven habit to make meals at home, which are generally healthier than eating out. We very often argue over who has dibs on the leftovers until they are gone, which includes sending them with our kids back to college. I think one of the biggest ways people spend well beyond their means is eating out all the time or entirely too often. We also love iced coffee, and we make our iced coffee at home - another money saving method!
