@BrettBitches@BradWall306 I don't disagree re: protecting kids, but we can't pick and choose when to apply the presumption of innocence. Either we have it or we don't.
@Slatzism This is simply false. There is a great deal of case law that suggests Gladue does not lesser a sentence in the context of violent offences - especially murder and manslaughter. Murder has mandatory minimums. You're not lying but you simply don't know what you're talking about.
Even if you accept this version of events (which is not accurate), the logic in this requires you to accept that if you steal a car as a 14 y/o, you deserve to be shot in the head.
You weird liar.
We never had slavery in Canada. It was abolished in the British Empire long before Canada was born.
Your bizarre statement says, "More than 800,000 people in Canada, the Caribbean, Africa & South America were freed", to try to hang other countries' sins on us.
@jesse_pewarchuk @JJ_McCullough Additionally, the 75 year limit is for federal court judges, not judges in criminal courts. The age limit in most provinces is either 65-70
@jesse_pewarchuk @JJ_McCullough Hi sir,
The age of retirement still applies. Judged retire at 65 and then appear supernumary as much as they'd like until they are forced out. With that said, supernumary judges are exceptionally rare, appearing maybe once in a jurisdiction per month.
@jesse_pewarchuk @JJ_McCullough This is just outright false. Judges actually are one of the only jobs in the country that have age limits. Do some fucking research
Just a reminder for those who cheer on our tax payer funded socialized healthcare system. And you know what will help this situation out even more? Bringing in hundreds of thousands of immigrants each year.
This is fucking outrageous and is completely contrary to the presumption of innocence and the purpose of bail - spend a fucking day in a courtroom you clueless twat
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
July 3rd, 2025
Ottawa, ON — Larry Brock, Member of Parliament for Brantford–Brant South–Six Nations, has launched a national petition calling on the Liberal government to repeal its soft-on-crime legislation and immediately reform Canada’s failing bail system.
“Police are doing their job, pulling illegal guns, fentanyl, and violent offenders off the streets, but thanks to Liberal soft-on-crime laws Bill C-5 and C-75, the same violent criminals keep walking free over and over again. When is the justice system going to do its part?
“Since the Liberals came to power in 2015, violent crime in Canada has increased by 50%, with sexual assaults up 74%, gang-related homicides up 78%, gun crime up 116%, and extortion exploding by 357%.
“And increasingly it’s repeat violent offenders committing these crimes; individuals who never should have been back on the streets in the first place.
“That’s why I’m calling on the federal government to take immediate action and:
1. Amend Canada’s Criminal Code to make bail more restrictive for repeat violent offenders, especially those charged with firearms offences, intimate partner violence, and serious violent crimes;
2. Repeal Bill C-5, which eliminated mandatory minimum sentences for serious violent offences;
3. Repeal the so-called “principle of restraint” introduced in Bill C-75, which instructs judges to release accused offenders “at the earliest possible opportunity” under the “least onerous conditions”;
4. Support law enforcement and victims’ rights advocates by ensuring the justice system puts public safety first and provides real consequences for repeat violent offenders, and;
5. Work with provinces, territories, and Indigenous communities to ensure consistent and effective bail policies across Canada.
“This is an issue all members of all parties heard during the campaign. Canadians are scared, and they’re tired of revolving door justice. Judges want to keep violent offenders behind bars, but their hands are tied.
“That’s why we need a change to our justice system that ends the soft-on-crime laws enabling repeat offenders and backs our police, protects victims, and keeps dangerous criminals off our streets.”

“It’s outrageous that young people or adults that have firearms (charges) are released on bail.”
Out on bail for weapons charges — now facing 73 more. This is what happens when Liberal soft-on-crime laws like Bill C-5 and C-75 tie the hands of police and judges.
It’s outrageous. It’s dangerous. And it has to end.
Repeal soft-on-crime laws. Restore real consequences before more lives are put at risk.
Charlie Kirk's current obsession with Mandan says a lot about who finances him, and where his interests truly lie. He's trying to be the mayor of a big city that Kirk already calls a shit hole, not president or even governor.
Zohran Mamdani has an Ivy professor dad and a famous director mom. He knows how to eat with utensils. But he chooses to eat rice with his bare hands to signal that he is from the Third World and isn't Western. It's a calculated stunt, just like him constantly changing his accent.
Honestly, that's a lot worse and more disturbing than if he just authentically ate that way. One is backwards. The other shows his contempt for our culture.
Watch.
