It was a pleasure to meet the EU Ambassador to the US, @EUAmbUS, this morning together with fellow EU Consuls General in LA. We held a wide-ranging discussion on EU-US relations and foreign policy 🇪🇺🇺🇸

I was truly moved to participate in Memorial Day events in San Diego this weekend, honouring Mayo man Corp. Patrick Gallagher. He died while serving in the US army in 1967 having been awarded the Navy Cross for exceptional bravery. It was an honour to meet his family & veterans.

So glad we attended this again…building on the last one we attended…the ICLF receives funding from the DFAT Emigrant Support Program (ESP)…the DFA also gave $500k towards the library building and $30k for the updated WiFi. 🌵☘️💕

The ICLF was proud to have President & Chairman, Laddie Shane, attend the Global Irish Civics Forum in Dublin this week. The Dept. of Foreign Affairs hosted a meaningful forum & to Verona Murphy & Mark Daly for their warm hospitality.
