will Zeke help us win more games this year?
not really sure
but he won’t hesitate to slap the ass of a 60-year old man, and that is old school, and that is the reason we brought him back into the building
Every time the Tennessee Titans player DeAndre Hopkins' scores a touchdown, he delivers the ball to his mom Sabrina Greenlee, who is blind.
It’s one of the best traditions in sports.
The whole story is heartbreaking.
Seventeen years. That's how long it has been since she lost her vision when a woman she didn't know threw acid at her face, blinding and disfiguring her in a bout of jealous rage.
Greenlee was a single mother of four in South Carolina, caught up in abusive relationships, hustling to survive. DeAndre was 10 years old.
Over time, she regained her sight in spurts, but it disappeared completely a few years ago, just as her son was emerging as one of the NFL's brightest stars.
Since then, millions of people have watched the now Tennessee wide receiver dive for otherworldly catches on the national stage, racking up more receptions through the first six seasons of a career than any other player in NFL history.
If her son scores, she explains, her daughter will help her stand up and lean over the barrier so she can accept the football from Hopkins.
This ritual serves as a reminder that, while she can't see her son, he still sees her -- and he wants the world to see her too.
“That ball symbolizes so much more than people ever could understand”
🚨 Michael Mariot told a story in his postgame press conference that is so damn cool.
He hadn’t pitched in the majors since 2016.
His agent convinced him to play Independent Ball to start the season even though he really was thinking about retiring.
He had a date that if he wasn’t signed by, he was going to retire and go to Hawaii with his family.
The last day he had to cancel his plans, the #Reds called and signed him to a Minor League Deal.
Today, he pitched 2.2 Innings of one run baseball for a team fighting for a playoff spot.
Sports are so cool. ⚾️
CRAZY STAT: The 2001 Miami Hurricanes defense headlined by Ed Reed, Vince Wilfork, D.J Williams, and co., was so DOMINANT that even if the offense scored zero touchdowns the entire season they still would have gone 8-4.
🤯🤯🤯
The offense scored 50 TDs and they went 12-0.

Jon Gruden once asked Colts OC Tom Moore why the backup QB’s weren’t getting any reps in practice during the Peyton Manning years.
Moore said:
"If 18 goes down, we're f—ed. We don't practice f—ed."
