Makati RTC Br 150 says ‘double jeopardy’ has not set in in the case of Sen. Trillanes because no judgment of acquittal or conviction was handed down in the REBELLION case nor was it dismissed without his consent.

The rebellion case (over 2007 Manila Peninsula siege) vs Sen. Trillanes before the Makati City RTC Br. 150 is bailable, while the coup d' etat case (over 2003 Oakwood mutiny) before the Makati City Br. 148 is a non-bailable offense. Br. 148 has yet to resolve the DOJ motion.
