Oso Ighodaro told me how much of his winning habits came from his former head coach at Marquette, Shaka Smart.
“I texted Shaka probably a month ago and I told him I’m super grateful for those habits that I don’t even have to think about that I do on the floor. There’s definitely some habits that just help me be a better player, like being in a stance. Thays something I have to remind myself of during the game.”
I followed up and asked if Smart has texted Ighodaro about any pointers.
“He only cares about rebounding (laughs). But more than that, he really just is invested with how I’m doing mentally. When we talk on the phone, that’s the number one thing he cares about because when I’m clear minded and being true to who I am, that’s me at my best.”
Hulk Hogan left us with many memories, but his greatest legacy is that 18 months ago, he and his wife were baptized and gave their lives to Jesus Christ:
“Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life. No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love.”
Sound up for this if you want to get your Monday started off on the right foot.
Few things better than a Markus Howard heater, but a Spanish announcer screaming as the ball is released because he already knows it's a splash does it.
Finished with 34 vs Barcelona. #mubb
