FF Pontious was assigned to FS 93 in the City of Palmdale. He faithfully served our Department along w/ #LACounty residents & communities for over 19 years.

Fire Chief Anthony Marrone was joined by Executive Team and Wellness Section members to travel w/families to honor 226 fallen FFs added to the @NFFF_News Roll of Honor, including 8 of our own. Families were presented with 🇺🇸that had flown over the NFFF Memorial & the US Capitol.
Your LA County firefighters and paramedics are using decades-old equipment, including fire engines, trucks, and an unreliable outdated 911 communications system. The LA County Fire Safety Measure will provide the resources they need to keep our communities safe.
Family, friends and colleagues gathered together today to honor the life of Fire Captain Henry H. Flores.
Captain Flores was remembered as a dedicated public servant, with a deep love for his family and faith.

Our Local 1014 members, including Firefighters, Paramedics, Dispatch, Heavy Equipment, Health Haz-Mat, Forestry, Camps, and Pilots, provide world-class service to the over 4 million residents of the unincorporated communities of Los Angeles County.
