Being introverted and usually bored in the late hours of the night, I always wondered if there is a way to chat with real people, anywhere in the world.

I found a bunch of websites, but they all had this one lingering flaw whenever I texted someone with a "questionable" profile - no way to tell if the other account is a bot or not?

So! As anyone naturally would (jokes), I decided to get to doing it myself, and leveraged our beloved AI to do it.

And that's how Plaza Hangout was born.

And look, I won't pretend I code, cos I don't.

The "bot" issue was addressed by requiring a profile pic with a human face on it.

Now, is that all it's gonna take to discourage bots? No. of course not. I am working on adding features in there.

Also is this website absolutely fool-proof? No.

But will I be taking suggestions on how to improve this thing any chance I get? HECK YES!
