@henrytcasey It can be an investment. :) If it's your favorite album of all time, I say get it...Or talk to one of your many EICs over there and get them to let you start reviewing vinyl and have companies send you this stuff. :) I used to DJ in college and I got most of my stuff sent to me.

@henrytcasey I'm always here for you! Ask away! Also, I am sure that there are many modern TT's that are fine, but again, invest in a decent cartridge. Even a Denon DL-110 would be a nice entry point, granted they cost over $200 now, they have doubled in price in recent years, but still great

@henrytcasey I'm always happy to provide my opinion. :) It does look way cooler too. :) I suggest looking into an Marantz 22xx series receiver, Sansui is also another great brand from that era. JBL, ADS, ESS, are some good speaker brands. I suggest you invest in a good stylus too.

@henrytcasey I highly suggest that you invest your money in vintage gear. You can find better stuff from the 70s that is much more cost effective. However, they do require some upkeep, but more bang for your buck. But I am a vintage loving guy, so take that into consideration. :)
