The #Rays have selected Texas prep SS Grady Emerson with the No. 2 overall section in the 2026 @MLB Draft. He’s considered the draft’s top prospect and is the @Gatorade Player of the Year. Royals All-Star and Texas native Bobby Witt Jr. also won the award.
“Emerson is the lone 2026 Draft prospect to receive a 65-grade hit tool, an indicator of how advanced he already is, consistently compiling quality at-bats and routinely finding the barrel. Among the 900 players currently ranked on each MLB club’s Top 30 Prospects list, none of them has a grade that high on their hit tool.” 👇🏻

Drew Rasmussen's career numbers against the #Yankees are just stupid:
His 0.89 ERA (50.2IP, 5ER) in his career against the Yankees is the fourth-lowest mark by any pitcher against a single AL/NL opponent since earned runs became an official statistic in 1913.
Junior Caminero sees the lowest rate of 4-seam fastballs in baseball (21%).
Despite that, he owns a ridiculous 71% hard hit, .364 BA, .788 SLG, and 22% whiff rate against them.
Here are your American League All-Star Ballot FINALISTS!

@9Laws2270207 That would be incredible. We should all hope that happens!
But.
A curse is broken…when it’s broken. It hasn’t been yet, therefore, it’s still alive.
@Chris_Lyspooner Why would you count prospects if they haven’t panned out yet?
