Sometimes in my profession of being a professional college football bettor and airport bar critic I get blessed with an experience that stays with me for years to come. The islander is one such experience. 10/10 - thread for full review

The bartender must have recognized me because as soon as I sat down he turned the tvs to 4 different nfl games. Not the place I was expecting to have Sunday ticket but here we are. How bout them pats.

Corona Beach House - MIA

Yes. This bar has it. Huge screens and and overall great vibe. I passed many dark restaurants and bars in the terminal and this one shines like a beacon in the night. Limited bar seating is my only complaint real complaint. 8.9/10

Chilis - Miami international

You guys know I love a good chilis. This is not a good chilis. The music choice is suspect. At times it captures the spirit of Miami but really it’s all over the place. It’s nfl Sunday and we got a dog show on the TV.

Southbound Tap Room - Savannah Airport

The potential is there with the soft piano wafting in from the beautiful indoor courtyard that captures the southern spirit of Savannah. But the food network on the one bar tv and a limited beer list ultimately holds it back 6.7/10
