Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi was from the Kurds,
and Muhammad al-Fatih was from the Turks, and Qutuz was from the Mamluks,
and Yusuf ibn Tashfin was from the Berbers,
and Berke Khan was from the Mongols,

These heroes,
divided by nationalities and races,
and united by the great Islam ... !!!

And Imam al-Bukhari was from Bukhara,
and Imam Muslim was from Nishapur and Ibn Majah was from Qazvin,
and Abu Dawud was from Sijistan and al-Tirmidhi was from Uzbekistan,
and al-Nasa'i was from Turkmenistan,

These hadith scholars,
the authors of the Six Authentic Books,
divided by nationalities and races,
and united by the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad Alayhissalaam

Indeed, this religion, though it began with the Arabs,
is not for the Arabs to the exclusion of others,
and there is no bond of kinship between Allah and any of His creation,

So Abu Lahab the Hashemite is in the Fire,
Bilal the Abyssinian is in Paradise, and Abu Jahl the Qurayshi is in the Fire

And Salman the Persian is in Paradise,
al-Walid ibn al-Mughirah the Mekhzoomite, of noble lineage, is in the Fire
and Suhayb the Roman is in Paradise ..

The Qurayshites of noble lineage who entered the Fire,
entered it only because of their evil deeds,

And the unknowns and the poor who entered Paradise,
entered it only because of their good deeds,
after Allah encompassed them in His mercy,

And if anyone benefited from lineage,
Abu Lahab would have benefited, and he is the uncle of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him

And if loyalty were to the land, the Messenger would not have left Mecca ..
And if it were to the tribe, he would not have fought Quraysh ..
And if it were to the family, he would not have disowned Abu Lahab ..

But it is the creed ... !!!

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said one day:
« O Fatimah, daughter of Muhammad
Work righteousness, for I am of no avail to you before Allah with anything,

O Safiyyah, aunt of the Messenger of Allah,
Work righteousness, for I am of no avail to you before Allah with anything,

O Abbas, uncle of the Messenger of Allah,
Work righteousness, for I am of no avail to you before Allah with anything,

People will not come to me on the Day of Resurrection with their deeds,
and you come to me with your lineages ... !!! »

And he, peace and blessings be upon him, the best of prayers and peace, said:
« You see the believers
in their mutual compassion, love, and mercy, like the body;
if one part of it complains, the rest of the body joins it
in sleeplessness and fever .. »

And the Exalted said: {Indeed, the believers are brothers}

And the Exalted said:
{Indeed, this is your nation, one nation, and I am your Lord, so worship Me}

For a person to love his origin and his people is one thing,
and to believe that he is better than others
because of his origin and his people is another thing.

The first is from chivalry, and the second is from ignorance ..

Unfortunately, many people have various superstitious beliefs. Amongst these beliefs, is the belief that the month of Safar is a month of evil and bad luck. Rasulullah 📷 came at such a time when the world was filled with darkness and completely eradicated all such beliefs. It was such a time when there were 360 idols in the Ka’aba. These idols were removed and Tauheed was imbedded in the hearts of the believers.

It is unbefitting of a Muwahhid (one who believes in the oneness of Allah) to stoop to such a low level where one entertains suchsuperstitious beliefs. Maulana Abdul Hamid D.B has discussed the issue of superstition and its various forms in this Kitaab and the great wealth of Tauheed.
May Allah grant us the Taufeeq of acting upon these valuable advices? Ameen!
