@lukasvac @Zly_Negr No, bude to asi otázka kontroly nad obsahem App Storu, zatímco vydavatelé platebních karet moc nepořeší, za co se těmi kartami kde platí. Ostatně i cut je úplně jinde. Za podstatné ale považuji snahu o právní klasifikaci lootboxů, což může být přínosné, ať to dopadne jakkoli.

Na Apple byla v Kalifornii podána hromadná žaloba v souvislosti s lootboxy. Žalobci požadují mj. vrácení peněz získaných Applem z prodeje lootboxů, ale také oficiální stanovisko k legálnímu statusu lootboxů a zákazu Applu v pokračování praktik, které považují za nelegální.

@FredCasden I believe doing something is better than doing nothing. There were times when digital music distribution was unheard of, then full of DRM and expensive; and look where we’re now. It’s an uphill battle, but the status quo is unsustainable.

@FredCasden Well, yes, it is easy indeed. However, wouldn't there be a point to counterweight voices for stronger copyright protection with voices promoting how using art works and should work in practice? I don't expect a change without a proper dialogue, which has hardly ever been there.

@FredCasden Yes and no. I agree with you, don't get me wrong, I just think it's not the whole picture. Platforms like Twitch exist *despite* the poor state of copyright legislation and may have the power to push for improvements. But seem to have decided not to.

I'm not sure that adding "Cheating a Twitch rewards system (such as the Drops or channel points systems)" as a prohibited activity addresses the issue in its entirety, especially the impact of continuous streaming of VODs in general.
