18 August 1944. Probably the only footage of someone earning a Victoria Cross. Canadian Major David Currie secured Saint-Lambert-sur-Dive and withstood heavy counterattacks for 36 hours. His small force killed or wounded 800 German soldiers and captured 2,100 more. #WW2#HISTORY

the Russians are now in full intimidation mode and an accident is waiting to happen, when it does, the Russians sure will blame the US/NATO plane for it, as the Chinese did when their fighter collided after an unsafe approach with a US Navy EP-3.

the E-2 is a now 60 year old, the US Navy keeps it mostly for cost reasons and in its E-2D version it is reaching its limits in terms of payload & range, the choice by the Chinese to clone it is then quite difficult to understand but for their inability to come with something new.
It's pretty legit. As per local source described, KJ-600's maiden flight was accompanied by a bird in yellow primer. In Yanliang, it usually is a J-11BS.
