@CapitalOne How long do I have to dispute a credit card charge? A merchant is claiming it can take 30 days for a refund to be issued. Will I owe interest on any amount that is later refunded?

@MBonvoyAssist I've been told by the hotel it can take 30 days for a refund to appear on my card while the main Marriott customer service said 7 days. Which one is accurate? Even if it's 7 days, I will incur interest payments and was not notified a refund could take 7 days.
