We are redrafting our official visitors rota for future meetings. We currently have at least four Dorset Lodges invited to each of our meetings, that will now increase to five and include some Lodges from Hants & IoW. Brotherly love, mutual respect and support, but above all fun!

Bookings for our Christmas meeting on 16th December are coming in thick and fast. We are honoured by a visit from the PGM and his escort, there to present a 50 year certificate to our Almoner, who is himself is a PAPGM. It’s going to be a cracking night.

Another top night at Kinson @Lodge5331 where we initiated another Brother into the fold. The DC even managed an impromptu guide to the tracing board for our initiates.

The committee meets tonight, ahead of a rehearsal for our regular meeting on Tuesday. Lots to discuss and consider, with open and frank discussion, all for the benefit of the lodge and its members.

The cut off day for booking your dining requirements at our 16th September meeting is this Wednesday. There’s pate to start, chicken and leek pie, followed by treacle sponge, a cheese board and tea or coffee on offer, all for £17.50 per head.

70% of tickets for our Oktoberfest have gone in 48 hours. We have now opened up sale of the remaining tickets to Brethren/Companions who meet in the Kinson building, in the true spirit of Masonic harmony at Ferncroft Road. Here’s a few shots from last year

We have a very full social calendar at Kinson @Lodge5331 but we’re always looking for some thing new! What would you like added to the Oktoberfest, boat trips, coffee and cake mornings, pizza or curry nights, breakfast club meetings and of course Christmas parties?

Another great evening for our members, partners, friends and family last night at Sandbanks Brewery. Fine ales, fantastic pizzas and impromptu entertainment. What more could you want?

The social events team are hard at work. We have a brewery trip on Friday with pizzas, there’s a boat trip being organised, a coffee and cake morning, the breakfast club and a curry night too. That’s all during the summer break, phew!
