The injuries are ruining careers, and I’d imagine every free agent is more cautious with each passing year.

Back in May, my son and I went to Lodi Comic Con because my son loves SpongeBob and wanted to meet the legendary voice behind the cartoon, Tom Kenny.

We stood in line at 2pm, were told that anyone in line by that time was guaranteed to see him.

However, as the clock struck 5, staff informed us that Mr. Kenny was going to be there one extra day, and that we could meet him “tomorrow.”

My son woke up early the next day, grabbed his SpongeBob “YouTooz” and we were the first to get to the booth he was previously stationed at.

He wasn’t there.
We looked at EVERY booth.
He still wasn’t there.

My son was devastated.

We asked someone who was stationed at a booth, “Is Tom Kenny here today?” and explained the whole situation of what happened the previous day.

He looked at my son who was crying, saying “Let’s get you that autograph.”
We handed him the YouTooz and thanked him, not knowing if this “deal” was even legit.

Well… it turned out it was Oscar Arce.

Within two weeks, Tom Kenny not only signed the figure, but sent a personal message to my son - adding his signature SpongeBob laugh at the end.

Thank you, Oscar. You made me look like “Super Dad.” And thank you Tom. Thank you for creating such a special memory for me and my son.

The Orange County (CA) DA has rightfully filed 5 felony charges against a woman for registering her dog to vote and casting mail-in ballots in the dog's name in 2 elections.

It's the right thing to do but it also indicts the state's weak election integrity laws.
