A drone's effective swath width is far shorter in crop canopies (we tested corn, wheat and soybean) than it is on bare ground. That means it will require more passes than expected to get uniform coverage.

What’s plant health worth this year? West half sprayed Trivapro (left) vs east half generic 2 moa fungicide. 2 different varieties (showing up on both) and rows run east/west. With rapid drying conditions I think it’ll be big. We’ll know soon enough.
Spent the day with several growers in south central Nebraska walking Storen fields. Only about 20% of these acres received dicamba with very clean fields. It’s a great tool that we need but love what Storen is doing this year.
Walked over 20 fields with 5 different growers. Most fields the pre is 30-35 days out and very clean (even borders). Time for overlapping residual. New corn herbicide Storen is providing clean rows!
Today was legistaltive action day for Kansas Ag Retail Association and Kansas Grain and Feed. You’re not always guaranteed to catch your legislature’s in their office but today I was able to meet with Senator Reddi and convey some of the state priorities of our industry.

WBC strikes again. I’m documenting several of these fields. This will 200 bpa yield on rough ground. 5.2 bushel per acre lost to wbc not including what molds may develop.
