Rakan KKM may be govt-owned — but make no mistake: it’s still a private entity (Sdn Bhd).

Once that happens, it answers to its board & shareholders, not rakyat.
And we’ve seen this story before — UEM, Sime Darby, FGV, PNB and its subsidiaries…

These ventures start with rakyat in mind, then slowly shift to profit-first.
Then come “strategic partners”, capital injections… and suddenly, public control is gone.

Healthcare isn’t business. It’s a right.
If Rakan KKM is truly for the people, we want:
✅ Full transparency
✅ Public audit
✅ Legal safeguards
✅ No creeping privatisation

This isn’t about being anti-gov. It’s about being pro-rakyat.
We’ve paid the price before. We won’t stay quiet this time.

Don’t let “corporate efficiency” end in rakyat suffering — again.

The minister says it’s not privatization, yet they set up a private Sdn Bhd company and hire management staff with salaries up to RM20k per month.

Madani has set-up Rakan KKM: patients who can pay more get to skip the queue and receive elective treatments/surgery faster at public hospitals, using facilities and staff funded by taxpayers.

The two-tier system is clear: ordinary people are left waiting without certainty for up to 7 months, while the privileged get ahead.
