There's this weird thought that if you claim to be an artist and you're not a full-time, then you don't take this seriously. But I strongly disagree with that, and I can give you a couple of reasons why.
First off, I've loved art my whole life. I even dreamed of being an artist when I was younger. My dad's an amazing artist and even applied to Disney to be an animator. My grandma's an awesome sculptor, and my whole family's into creating in some way shape or form. It’s in my blood.
But as I grew up, I realized that sometimes the cards you are dealt doesn't give you much time for art. You have to work, go to school, and take life seriously. And if you're in my shoes with kids, your plate's full.
Solana gave a lot of artists that chance. They finally saw value in their work and could chase their dream of being an artist again. 🎨
So when I see people, especially other artists, complaining about others taking breaks, not being consistent, or talking about other shit other than art 24/7, fuck you. Not everyone's had the luck or privilege to be full time
If you see an artist who's not always on top of things or talks about other shit, don't judge them. Support them, like you would any other artist trying to share their emotions and passions.
At the end of the day, we're all just trying to make our mark in the world.👁️
Don't be afraid to experiment 👨🔬
Often times, artists feel like they have to stick to 1 thing or follow trends
If you stick to your beliefs, the right people will resonate with your art 💖
