people working in any entertainment industry shouldn't be at risk for speaking out against abusers.

just seeing some of the things that happened this GDC, against the back drop of human rights crises in SF and awful climate change, is unacceptable.

people in power shouldn't be able to shirk the consequences of their actions under a layer of obscurity or title or status. very frustrated, to say the least, and I'm mostly learning about a lot of these occurrences on twitter.

it can terrifying and harrowing fighting for yourself in positions like this. it's unfair to have to come into an industry as someone from a marginalized background and 1) be better than your oppressors 2) protect them from their own actions??

gonna have to start coming to conventions with the love and hate rings
